Steps to Set Up Active Tags

Introduction

This guide walks you through the process of setting up active tags and creating outbound messaging so that the AI can respond to user interactions. This setup is ideal for reactivation campaigns.

1. Access the Active Tag Section

  • Navigate to the Assistants tab.
  • Select the assistant you’ve already set up (from earlier tutorials).
  • In the top-right corner, locate the yellow box labeled Add Active Tag.
  • Click Add Active Tag, which redirects you to the Active Tag section.

2. Create an Active Tag

  • Click Create Active Tag in the top-right corner.
  • Name your tag appropriately (e.g., Coaching Assistant).
  • On the right-hand side, click the three dots to open the menu.
  • Link the tag to an assistant by selecting the relevant assistant (e.g., Olivia Impactful Look Assistant).
  • Set the tag name (e.g., olivia_wellgrow), ensuring:

All characters are lowercase.

Spaces are replaced with underscores.

  • Click Add, and save the changes.
  • Navigate back to the assistant to confirm the active tag has been added.

Steps to Create an Automation Workflow

1. Create a New Workflow

  • Go to the Automation tab.
  • Open the desired folder or create a new one.
  • Click Create New Workflow and select Start from Scratch.

2. Add a Contact Tag Action

  • Add the action Add Contact Tag.
  • Enter the active tag (e.g., olivia_wellgrow), or copy and paste it for accuracy.
  • Save the action. This ensures that any contact with this tag in WellGrow Software is recognized.

3. Send an SMS Message

  • Add the action Send SMS.
  • Example Message: Hello, excited to learn more about your health and fitness goals! What's your number one goal Simeon?
  • Save the message. This action sends the SMS, enabling the AI to respond to user replies.

  • Active tags link specific actions (e.g., SMS responses) to the assistant, allowing it to respond dynamically.
  • Ensure tag names are formatted correctly (lowercase and underscores for spaces).
  • Workflow naming is recommended for easy organization (e.g., SMS Campaign Workflow).
